Michael Flierl

18 White Head Coach

This will be Michael's first year at Circle City. Between 2009-2012, Michael coached Milwaukee Rally for two years and then one year for Milwaukee Sting. He also served as Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach for Waukesha South High School for one season. In 2013, Michael was a Positional and Substitution Coach for Prime Time Volleyball Club located in Champaign, Illinois.

Michael played for Eden VBC from 1999-2005, first as a setter, then as a defensive specialist for 5 years. He won two Boys’ East Coast Championships as well as the Nittany Invitational held at Penn State. As a junior he was elected First-Team All Western New York, the first libero to do so.

Michael started as a Libero for Lindenwood University (NAIA at the time, now Division II NCAA) from 2005-2008. In his freshman year, his team was the NAIA Men’s Volleyball National Championship Runner-up. During his freshman and sophomore seasons, Michael earned the Highest Dig Percentage Award at the NAIA Men's’ Volleyball National Championship. His junior year, Michael was awarded the Lindenwood University Male Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.
