Katie Daprile

Katie has coached club volleyball for a total of 6 years. She has coached teams in the 16-18's age groups at Circle City and Vision Volleyball Club. She has also coached the boys teams at South Indy Volleyball Club and Center Grove High School.

Katie attended Center Grove High School and played libero and hit outside for Deb McClurg. She also played at Circle City her 16, 17, and 18's year.

Katie attended Butler University where she started as a freshmen right-side hitter and played all 6 rotations and was named to the Horizon League All-Newcomer Team. Her sophomore, junior, and senior years, Katie was Butler's starting libero. Sophomore year, Katie broke the single-season digs record with 541 digs and appeared in all 117 sets. During her junior year, she rebroke her singe-season digs record with 556 digs and appeared in all 124 sets. In her final season, Katie rebroke her single-season digs record again with 574 digs and was named Defensive Player of the Week twice.  She was named to the 2010 Horizon League All-Tournament Team and was also the Horizon League's All-Time Career Digs Leader with 2009 digs.

Katie is the daughter to Phil and Angie Daprile. She has one sister, Dana (27). Dana played at Center Grove and Butler with Katie. She has a younger brother, Phil (24). Phil played volleyball at Center Grove and attended Ball State University.
