Danielle English

Danielle has been at Circle City for 13 years. Six as a player and this will be her seventh year as a coach. Danielle assisted the 13 Purple team in 2008 & 2009. In 2008, her team won the Regional Championship and finished in the top 20 in the Nation. In 2010, she assisted 17 Black and helped them qualify for USAV Nationals and in 2011 and 2012 became the head coach for 17 Black.

 

 

 

Playing Experience

College

Danielle finished her playing career at IUPUI in 2010. As a freshman she was named to the All-Freshman team. As a senior she was All-Conference and led the conference in assists. She has been an All-Tournament selection and has twice been named Summit League Offensive Player of the week. Danielle ended her collegiate career as IUPUI’s all time leader in assists.

High School

While in High School, Danielle was a four year letter winner at Martinsville. She served as team captain on the squad that won the IHSAA Class 4A State title her senior year. She was selected to the Indiana All-Star Team following her senior season, was named Metro West Player of the Year by the Indianapolis Star and named to the Indianapolis Star Super Team. She was also named All-Conference Indiana her final three seasons and All-Conference by Mid-State Conference her senior year when Martinsville had dual Conference membership.

Club

In 2006, she played on the 18-1s Circle City team that finished second at the USA Junior Olympic Championships. In 2005, her 17-1s finished first and Danielle was named to the All-Tournament Team.
