This will be Brittany's 7th season coaching club where she has experience coaching at every age group. In December 2014, Brittany finished her second year as an assistant for Western Kentucky University located in Bowling Green, KY. Before Western Kentucky University, she was head coach for Mid-Continent University located in Paducah, KY for 4 years (2009-2012).
Under Nicley's direction, MCU set 68 individual and team records while recording the most wins in program history, as the team won a record 11 matches, including its first ever TranSouth Conference victory - a five-set triumph over Union University. Six student-athletes were also named to the TranSouth All-Conference team. Off the court, Nicley's team had the highest GPA for all sports teams during her four years with 19 being named TranSouth Conference Scholar-Athletes and four named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Nicley has also served as head coach for the Western Kentucky Volleyball Club 17-1s/12s, Circle City Volleyball 15-3s and Western Boone High School junior varsity. She has experience in specialized instruction, acting as an individual instructor for 24 athletes and as a camp/clinic director at various high schools.
Nicley attended Judson University, a NAIA school in Elgin, Ill., and played four years of volleyball and softball. She graduated from Judson in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. As a senior setter on Judson's volleyball team, she led the team with 218 assists.
As a junior and senior middle infielder, Nicley helped Judson qualify for the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) Championships. She hit .293 with three doubles, 17 RBI, seven stolen bases, and 14 runs scored as a senior, and Judson posted a 24-24 record, its season record for wins, and placed third at NCCAA Nationals in Florida. Nicley ranks fourth in Judson history with 381 career at-bats, seventh with 91 hits, 12th with 21 walks, and 13th with 37 RBI and 35 runs scored.
A 2004 high school graduate, Nicley played volleyball, softball, and basketball all four years at Western Boone Senior High School in Thorntown, Ind., earning All-Conference awards in all three sports as a sophomore, junior and senior and still holds the school volleyball record for most career, single-season and single-match assists.
